  • Diet and veggies

    Hi Skip

I’ve been re-watching the Longevity 2 DVD and in the diet section when discussing your take on counting the macros in food sources you mention that you don’t count veggies that are ruffage (spelling?)
I always thought green beans were on that list but you mentioned at 28:08 that you would count the carbs in green beans.
This has me questioning if I really know which veggies are acceptable

Can you please list a few options that you would consider good choices for fiberous veggies

    Thank you

Cannot get enough of the DVD and past journals you have posted

I only recently started counting green beans because I came across a couple of people who were eating massive amounts of them. lol

The best options for "not counting" carbs are:

    broccoli
    cauliflower
    greens
    green/yellow/red peppers

Some other good ones that you just can't eat cups and cups of at a time but are still good:

    green beans
    onions
    carrots
    tomatoes
    mushrooms
