Well done! He's a real nice guy. He works out at my gym and he's a monster! I saw that skip had traveled down to work with him a couple of weeks ago at our gym. I wanted to run over there like a groups and get a pic taken but out of respect I didn't. It's cool to see some faces from this site in my neck of the woods.

Arnold is a super nice guy and so is his wife. GREAT people and I always enjoy going down there to train and hang out with them. Love the gym there, too!

We had a tanning catastrophe, you could say. This was the night show where we actually had to scrub off the old color and apply this color that is in the pic. It was at least even at the night show, though it was very light. We did everything we could to rectify the problem but when color gets messed up, changing it at the last minute is almost impossible to do.

You are right, though, and we all agreed this wouldn't happen like this again.

I had that happen to me in a way on my second show. The entire batch of spray tan was botched.. Half the people at the show used it too, it kept coming off no matter how many times they resprayed everyone. Needless to say, that really sucked.

I have seen that happen, as well.

Our problem was that there are two types of Jan Tana colors and Arnold had no base tan, at all. With the one JT color we would have been fine but I was unaware there were two different ones (still not sure why and why it doesn't differentiate between the two better). Had he had a base tan it may not have mattered as much but that color was absolute garbage. It went on terribly streaky and I was just HOPING for lighting that was not terribly bright - a duller stage light - and we actually got that but it wasn't enough.

After the PJing we went back and scrubbed it off and applied as heavy of a coat of protan as I possibly could without applying it too heavy so that it wouldn't set up in time.

Lucky us, they actually had to RE JUDGE the class due to some discrepancies from the morning scoring so they ran them through the quarter turns and then mandatories twice. By that time the color was actually running from sweat. lol When it rains it pours I guess.
