    Skip, do you believe age should affect your heart rate? Like if you're 40 and above, do you still need to get it to 130? Also you don't like incline treadmill cardio?

      Skip, I know you mentioned that you don't even count minutes of cardio that are working up to the target heart rate of 130bpm, and I know that you said the aim is to get away with as little cardio as necessary. But what would be the minimum time doing cardio in a single session, once you've got your heart rate up to 130 if course, to make a cardio session worthwhile? E.g. Is 10 mins sufficient? 20 mins?                 I don't have a rule but I can't think of the last time I went under 20 minutes.

                  Only in rare circumstances do my clients use HIIT. I am just not a big fan of it. I think that bodybuilders need to be careful to not put their legs at risk while doing cardio and I think that hiit can quickly zap your CNS and we don't want that. Low to moderate intensity cardio has been proven time and again to get people ripped and that is what I stick with.
