This was my first time working with a prep coach although I am by no means a competitor. After years of training and never really grasping the concept of diet and nutrition, I finally decided to man-up and hire the best I know.

I really like the final result, especially for a first time run. I lost over 20lbs of fat while getting stronger and beating the log book as some of you guys have seen my training journal on here.

    1. Skip is really cool and easy to work with. Initially, I didn't know what to expect, but glad he is a good guy.

    2. I already ate clean (no fast food, junk food, dairy or sweet drinks), so the challenge for me was to get the meal timing and macros correct.

    3. Since I was on the ECON plan, I never spoke with Skip. I kind of saw some of his style from reading his posts. However, what I found very beneficial was watching his LONGEVITY dvd. This gave me a better idea of his style, approach and basically what he's about... I would highly recommend this for all, especially for those on the fence about doing an ECON plan like I did.

    4. I complied with most of my diet/nutrition/cardio plan to the best of my ability. I wasn't perfect, but I did do my best.

    5. I finally realized that I have a "lazy" body. There is only so much calorie reduction/restriction that can be made. I really need lots of cardio... frequency and duration.

If you guys have any questions I would be happy to answer within reason.

Thanks again Skip for a job well done and look forward to working with you in the future.

    Great results man! looking great!

when you said you never actuall spoke to him... do you mean you just got a one time template to follow? were you able to check in? or no correspondence other than the intial set up?

I guess I am just asking for a little more detail on the econ plan and how it is structured

        Thanks for the compliment.

No, we communicated regularly via email/private "chat room" room. Skip is VERY hands on and accessible. We just didn't speak on the phone...

Good job. At the end how much cardio were you doing? Also were you doing the stanard Skiploading on Saturday or did you get to eat carbs throughout the week?

I don't think many people speak to him on the phone unless it is contest prep.

                Thanks!

The diet went through several phases. towards the end I was doing 5 cardio sessions a week at 60 mins each. Yes, I had a typical Skipload on Sunday that ended up at 10-hours.

No but he did give me his number in case I needed some last minute help making weight for nationals even though our time ended the week prior. He also wanted to know that I made weight because he said he would follow through and make sure and he did, that says a lot. SAMMICH still keeps trying to buy the number from me but I won't do it..

                    I've met Skip before..he's ok ;-)

I think I have that "Lazy body" thing going on too. I hate 5 days a week cardio

                    I also worked with Skip for a while. I went from 240 @ almost 19% BF to 238 @ 12%. 15.5lb muscle gain & 17lb fat loss.

That is some solid progress there, LG1. Nice work.

Whats your plan now? Continue to work w/ Skip or if your time is over, keep going with what youve been doing?

Starting a new job soon so can't make the same commitment. Definitely would like to work with Skip again. In the meantime, will try to use what I have learned to make some "lean gains".:hungry:

Yeah, fat loss is not easy with a desk job... Got to do different things to stay active.

Awesome progress on your results Bryan...
