  • OK, here goes

I don't have any recent full body shots.
Had a major car accident last October (being big & strong kept me from being crippled) This led to brain surgery around Thanksgiving. (subdural hematoma "larger than any they'd ever seen on someone still alive"!)
I started back slowly in January and then ran a 6 week product trial. through February early March
This pic is at about 233lbs, currently about 240 taken in March.
Planning to run a 12 week "Extreme Body Challenge" and try to get ready to do a local show in Nov, Masters division, heavyweight
    Stats
    39yrs old
    6'2"
    240lbs
    chest 53"
    r-bi 17-1/2"
    r-quad 27"
    waist 36"
    bf% around 14
I REALLY need arm and shoulder work!

I am far more impressed by people who can recover from hardships and keep on training than by those who have it made and train. That is what being a true warrior is about: love for the sport, perseverance in your goals and believing in yourself. True grit. Admirable.

I finally got my rack deads to 600 today. (below knees NO straps)
Haven't pulled this much weight since before my wrist surgery in 2002 (tore cartilage off the bone with 100lb weighted dips)
Each month I'm trying to bring something back up to pre accident form. Got squats to 535 in April, and got floor deads to 525 in May.
Now if I could only work with those 120's again on incline, wrist still doesn't like over 110's, nor do shoulders....

Thanks for the encouragement everyone, I gotta stay on track and figure out how to diet down to possibly compete in Nov.
              I HATE CUTTING!!!!! :dcchomp:
