That year was my dads favorite (not trying to make you sound old KR) as he had two of them, burgundy or maroon. They both ended up stolen and turned into what you could call Go-Carts. Go figure...

The Chevelle is in primer right now...will be painted soon enough. My body shop guy is a little behind right now. I won the 1/4 mile street class at the local dragstrip with the Chevelle in 2001...finished 2nd in 2002. I will get a pic of it up soon enough.
Just bought the Camaro....I am going to do a restoration on it...should have it ready by late spring , early summer.Admin@ http://www.proactivehealthnet.com

Got a great deal on it...$2300. Needs paint and carpet...but the car is in great shape.
It is an original RS-SS with factory air conditioning...pretty rare car-not many came with the RS-SS option. And not many muscle cars came with AC in the 60's.
I saw the car when I went to look at a guys 66 chevelle...I wasn't interested in the Camaro cause I thought the guy would want a ton for it...when he said 2300 I bought it on the spot!
I have a body and paint guy that is a good friend -he does a lot of restoration work -I am taking the camaro to him next weekend. Hopefully I will have it ready in May or June.
I have been into drag racing since I was a kid...got lots of go fast goodies in the garage. Got a 400 CID small block that dynoed at 548 HP that is going in the camaro real soon. Ive got several big blocks that I am gettin anxious with too.
The area I live in is Hot Rod central. We have a big drag race next weekend...I will take some pics and post them up.
The same motor went 10.80's in the 1/4 in a friends 68 Camaro...actually went a 10.10 with a wiff of nitrous.Admin@ http://www.proactivehealthnet.com
