  • holidays an all this

Hey guys. A question has always been on my mind, when it comes to going on holidays what do you guys do interms of eating and working out.

If I go on holiday next year I might be in a place where I wont have any access to weights for atleast a month or more.

Do you guys stick to your 6 meals an that ton of protein, an your workouts? Or do you take it easy?

i only go on holiday once a year, for a week,so it doesent present much of a problem, some hotels have gyms, when i was in spain they had a great little resteraunt that did gilled chicken breast or steak with heaps of potatoes and green veg,for a measly 5 euros.

Can't say really. A month is a long time to be anywhere for me. If it's that long though, do all you can to try and find some way to work out.

Personally, i never drop the eating habit, its a way fo life, a lifestyle I have become a custom to, and my body has become acustom to as well.

To go on holiday for a month, is sure a shit not going to get me to drop the numbe rof meals I eat, I still get my 6 meals in day in day out, I may drop the cal a bit due to less activity, but keeping things the same is probabily best to retain your gains while not training.

I also forgot to mention, even if you take a break fro say a month yo can also still keep some cardio, depending on your level of fitness/ leanness, you can still do 3 to 4 times a week fo simple walking, just to help your heart and feel good

Only just thought of protein bars an those kind of things right now. Im sure even though getting meat for me on holiday would be hard tuna is the easiest thing in the world.

Couple of cans on bread an theres a meal. Now i may get sick of that. But then comes my friend good old scrambled eggs.

Oh and in australia the takeaways are lebanese meaning the meat is halaal so i can get things like chicken wraps. I guess i'd be ok for food. Yea gotta improvise with the training though. Shrugs with the bed

if i had no access to weights for over a month, i'd make myself another calisthenic program and
work my way up on reps with 1-handed and 1-legged exercises and try to train myself up to doing a 1-handed pull up by taking a finger off the opposite hand each time i got 10 pull ups. i also might inclue some modified barbell resistance exercises by using a large stick and having another person provide resistance to barely allow me to get a certain amount of reps.

or maybe have someone sit on your back and do push ups as well.... firemans carry and squat them... theres plenty of things to do. or if you get one of those hook things and a big rope you can pull cars around for fun!
