  • pretty tired of oatmeal breakfast

    im pretty tired of eating my 1 cup of oatmeal for breakfast and am looking for equal alternatives. does anybody else eat anything different that is just as good. i was thinking of whole grain toasts with a little pb.

    I eat alot of multigrain (8-12 grain) bread. Good source of a lower glycemic carb.

        i make a box of jiffy cornbread with 3 egg whites in it
        a lil fruit spread n im rockin n rollin
        and for .60 a box u cant beat it

          you can try oat bran, fiber one cereal, total protein cereal, whole wheat pita with eggs(mmmmmmmmmm)...... :dcchomp: :dcchomp: :dcchomp:

            Frk-Have you ever tried to make those into pancakes. They're really good. I might have to do that this weekend. The recipes on the side of the box. They're also .33 a box here.

              If you have a blender you can make yourself an oatmeal-shake!
              I use like 150 grams of oatmeal, 5dl milk, 50 grams proteinpowder and maybe some jam. You can use a lot of combinations. Blend this together in your blender and you can drink your oatmeal! It tastes pretty good to. And it only takes like 5-10 minutes to prepare and drink!

                  Offseason I almost never eat oatmeal...Figure I'll leave that for the dieting.Plus you have to eat SO much of the stuff to get your carbs where mine need to be.....Whole wheat bread,rice etc are some off my carb sources.....


                  Oh BTW did I mention that I weigh 318lbs?......BWAHAHAHAHA

                          I sometimes eat oatmeal protein muffins, but you'll have to eat at least 8 regular muffins to get in your 1 C. oatmeal so I guess that's out.

                          Do you add anything into your oatmeal???
