  • What's for breakfast?

    This is the hardest meal of the day for me to find a variety of protein rich food. Lately I've been eating 5 eggs, 8 oz. of turkey sausage, milk, whole wheat bagel or bran flakes. I cook it every morning.
    I've thought about buying pasturized egg whites, but they're $2 for a carton that has 50 grams of protein, so I'd need 2 a day and that would add up a little fast.
    Also is it okay to eat flaxseeds with oatmeal or is that fat/carbs.

    protein shake or smoothie if you're not feeling lazy and a whole bunch of complex carbs like oatmeal, muffins, fruit, cereal, whole wheat toast or whatever yummy food you can come up with.

      i ususally eat 8 egg whites and 2 hole eggs with 1 cup of oatmeal, i mix the 2 together and try to swallow it all some mornings its a challenge

          I got up damn late so a protein bar and 20 timbits and off to work. Pretty crappy breakfast. Usually a shake with fruit is what I do to start. It gets digested quickly to make room for meal 2.

            i usually have a shake with oatmeal in it and a bar on my way to work and then a can of tuna or chicken when i get to work.

                every single morning i set the alarm for 6am and fall out of bed and slam 100g WPC then fall back into bed for an hour, get up and either hit cardio or start work (from home) then my real breakfast is at 8am which will either be scrambled egg (12 egg white,2 yolk) and 70g oats after with flax or omlette (again 12 egg white,2 yolk) with baked beans and cheese inside and ill move the flax to my next protein shake at 10am!
                Some people are so afraid of dying they never actually start living.

                  I also take in a protein shake 75 gr whey isolate at 6am, and at 9am have an 18 egg omlet (2 egg yolks) with feta cheese, some guac, some salsa and some italian sausage. Damn be breakfast good! :dcchomp:

                          There are lots of places on the net to get egg whites. Eggology.com or try lanaseggwhites. I think lana has 8.5 lbs of eggwhites for like 49.99. That includes shipping.

                              Well i cant really eat solid food in the morning so I have a big protein shake with olive oil in it. Thats about it.
