  • Best MP3 player for the money???

    Hey fellas and fell...ettes,

Just in the market for an Mp3 player again. What do you guys recommend? How much was it? I'm honestly not looking to spend a lot of money, but I'd definitely want a good product! Thanks.

I've got an Iriver MP3... It's at least a year old, but I love it. I think I spent about $150 on it. It holds about 4 hours worth of music. It has all my music, plus I can get the radio & record off the radio if I want to. I don't do that, but if I wanted to, I could. supposedly I can download a movie on it, but can't figure out how I'd watch the darn thing if I tried that.

I seem to be the only person in the gym with an MP3. I guess I'm advanced technilogically in this hillbilly town. I can't stand their music, and it helps me get into my zone.

The Diamond Rio line is pretty good, I've used a few of there mp3 players and there good quality, and most of all there technical support/customer service is good. One key feature that you may want incase the mp3 player goes funky from using it so much during DC training, lol.

You can't go wrong with an iPod. It's the cream of the crop. It's 299 big ones, but it holds 5,000 songs. A ton of other options, too, putting it in your car, hooking up to your home theater. You definitley get your money's worth

ive been thinking about investing in one of these as well,, i get tired of the cd player i have and the continous 15 tracks i have to listen to while working out.. for now it works but ive seen some of these mp3 and just cant believe how much music they hold,, sure beats the gym music like norah jones, backstreet boys, etc.. (there is nothing wrong with norah jones, but to hype yourself up to this kind of music is ridiculous)

I keep hearing way too many good things about the iPod along with alot of great free software hacks to customize your iPod as well. That's my next big buy.

OK iPod is sort of out of the question because I said that I don't want to spend a whole lot of money. Antihero, I really love the Creative Nomad Muvo, those little things get amazing reviews in all areas and they're inexpensive. Been looking for the 128 meg one though. Pretty sure you can still get them for under $100 or maybe slightly over. The iPod, yea it's good and all, but you have to buy EVERYTHING FOR IT SEPERATELY, which is pretty expensive. And honestly, who the hell needs 5000 songs? I can't even THINK of 1000 if I sat here and thought about it, hell make that not even a couple hundred. So yea, not interested in getting one with a tremendous amount of space. Not to mention there is no user replaceable battery and it goes out completely after a year to a year and a half.

I think I'll check out the Creative product
