<----serious diehard red sox fan and I will bawl like a baby if they win a world series (already told the wife to be prepared)--been thru billy buckner and bucky dent and aaron boone--last year i got tears in my eyes when I was telling my wife in a restraraunt about how the sox were playing baltimore at fenway and the whole stadium stopped and started chanting in unison "bring on the yanks, bring on the yanks, bring on the yanks" --it was deafening and even the players were shocked and the yankees were still 3 days away---for anyone who really has no comprehension of the intensity of the yankees red sox rivalry, drive thru boston at this time of year and see whats on all the bridges, billboards etc.......this coming up weekend is big and will tell alot. You have no idea how bad a red sox fan wants to beat the yankees

Dante as Yankees partial season ticket plan holder I find it incredible that something as good as your training program came from a red sox fan. It baffles my mind. I didnt realize that Red sox fans were capable of anything worthwhile. I actually hope for all you red soxs fans sake that the sox get knocked out of the playoffs before they meet the Yanks because another devestating loss to the Yanks in the playoffs might send some of you Boston fans off the deep end. :p

Tribe fan here!! Sorry, ain't in da big leagues like you guys, but watch out for us!

Seems so predictable everytime.. yankees through as division winners then the sox from the wild card. Yankees are like the winningest team nowadays that i'd give a forearm to see em outta the playoffs for once!!
                      Consistency is the key

When I was young NY was a Mets town, they won in 86 and I didnt want to be a frontrunner bandwagon jumper like I saw all my friends at school being so I chose to be a Yankee fan. It sucks now that I have to be associated with frontrunners and bandwagon jumpers now that my team is actually good. I struggled through all the terrible seasons in the late 80s and early 90s, never making the playoffs, bad records, etc. Even when good stuff happened it was bad....like Andy Hawkins throwing a no hitter in 90 and LOSING! So my loyalty has been tested.

Yeah, but it's people like yourself that aren't the ones shooting your mouth off. My best friend is a fan like yourself, born into a yankee family, but he's not calling me everytime the yankees win.

Yeah its a shame that there are so many fair weather fans out there. It happens whenever a team wins a lot in any city. I am also a Jets and a Knicks fan, neither have a championship in my lifetime so I know on a much smaller scale what sox fans feel like. I know that eventually the sox will beat the Yanks. Not looking forward to that but I was worried about them last year and I am worried about them this year. DOnt get me wrong I still hate the sox and their fans but I definitely appreciate and respect them. The sox play hard and are fun to watch, and their fans are die hard unlike a lot of NY fans. Its gotten to a point where its not fun anymore cause if we win, we are expected to and if we lose it will be catastrophic. Either way they are always good games with interesting stuff happening.
