  • What do you listen to while lifting?

My ipod has over 1,200 songs on it, and just like surfing through 300 channels on cable, I can't seem to find anything that cathes my interest anymore. What are some of you favorite songs that get you pumped for your RP set?

Oh man...don't even get me started. Usually a mix of angry Rap (DMX, new Gucci Mane/Wacka Flocka Flame album, NWA, Jedi Mind Tricks, Kool G Rap), Rock/Metal (Rob Zombie, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Motörhead...shit I could keep going) and other assorted shit like classic Beethoven or E.S. Posthumus.

it basically has to have lyrics that are angry or personal to me. its usually some sort of hard rock/metal type thing.

most represented on my ipod are:

      AC/DC, Metallica

      Faves:

      The above, Shinedown, Avenged Sevenfold

              Killswitch...fear factory...stuff like that.

But oddly enough, I hit the most PRs while listening to Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. Weird as hell.

The past year I have been working alot in L.A. & Rriverside County (they put me back in the field installing). I was leaving the house @ 3:30 a.m. to be @ work between 6 & 6:30 (getting home around 6 p.m.). Traffic is a bitch north of the 405. I just recently starting back in the Carlsbad shop and been going to the UTC gym so when I'm done I only have a 20 minute drive to work. I will probably start back at the Rancho gym on Monday. It will be nice to go to a gym where people actually have a personallity!
