  • It's Funny Cause I'm Dumb

So I read up on DC training some time ago, 4 months or so, and I decided to do it. Thing is, I misinterpreted what "rest-pause" meant. This whole time, I've been doing sets of singles. That is, do one rep, wait 10-15 seconds, do another, wait 10-15 seconds, do another... Until failure, then repeat twice after a minute or so between each set (of singles).

    Oops...

You essentially applied rest-pause as Mentzer advocated, with the frequency of DC. Erroneous, yes, but I have to ask: what kind, if any, results did you get?

Please READ ONLY for the next year, no posting. Seriously, I'm not joking. It isn't funny, it is fucking scary.

Actually that's cluster sets, but give him credit for admitting.

I think he needs to work on reading comprehension.
Overtraining should be one of the lowest concerns. You should focus on optimal training.

My hope is that you weren't going around telling people: "yeah, I'm doing DC"...

I won't waste my time with a separate reply in your protein thread...

A little, not a lot. And I originally read about DC training from a source not connected to Dante, so when I read HIS write-up, I breezed through a few things. Lesson learned.

Still haven't gotten anything close to a reply if the answer to my question is, in fact, so obvious.

Thanks, in that case, I don't care to hear it.

I find it strange that people are acting so butt hurt over this post.

                        *shrug*

I fucked it up when I first tried it, too. Whatever; live and learn. Just so long as you are doing it correctly now.

Well, for one thing I tried DC WAAAAAAAAAAAAY before I had any business doing so. But in terms of fucking up the program, I was doing 4 mini-sets instead of 3, I tried doing the 3-way split 4 days a week, and I was basically just fucking retarded.
