  • The DoggPound's Thoughts on Novice Training

A question for the vets on this board...

I consider myself a beginner. Bench 185, Squat 205, Deadlift 300. DC is way too advanced for me. What do you guys suggest?

I am looking to get as big and strong as possible. I'm 5 foot 9..155 pounds.

Look around a little more, this question has been asked/answered possibly more than any other.

      I've actually looked around quite a bit..haha.

I've found things that were somewhat similar, but I was trying to get an idea for my particular situation. Those threads were hella old too, so trying to see if anything new has come up since..that people recommend.

I apologize if this has been beaten to death around here. I don't frequent here very much. If you could hook me up with some links, I'd be more than willing to read em.

Overtraining should be one of the lowest concerns. You should focus on optimal training.
