I apologize in advance for asking this question as I know we shouldn’t modify the original DC template but in my case it’s the only option. In 2016 I was diagnosed with leukemia and the treatment caused many issues including AVN in my knees. Because of this, I had to get a major surgery in my knees and am unable to train legs at all. Unfortunate this is not temporary but most likely something I’ll have to deal with for the rest of my life.
My question for you all is how can I still incorporate DC training while not being able to train legs at all. Before I started having these issues I followed the 2 way split as written for 2 years and I truly love the training style. Would It be ideal to keep training M,W,F and rotate between push and pull? The volume would be the same for upper body that it would be following the 2 way DC split. The only issue I personally have with that is workouts being so short. Any opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
