yeah. I sometimes just use a MRP to counter-balance b/c I can't miss food...lol. The training light bothers me but it really does help the muscle/joints/ligaments heal.

Hmm..that's weird...I always feel great cruising. Joints don't hurt from the lifting, and my stomach gets a rest from all the food. No more bloated feeling and I usually drop a bunch of water so I feel and look much better. Except for the clomid PMS'ing I love cruising...lol.

I think I'm about there, I've been pushing it for about 9 weeks and I've gained 14 lbs and my lifts are up
but I wake up with the buzzing feeling, tired all the time
stomach is queasy from force feeding
        callouses are peeling off
knees kill me for two days after hacks
        I'll be 40 in a few days
        I think it's time for a rest
Is two weeks about right, then I can blast into January for the precontest countdown?

I know what you mean munster, I just had a 2 week cruise then got sick and had to extend the cruise for about 3.5 weeks :banghead:

How many meals you eating? I usually drop my 7th meal and just eat 6 during the cruise since I am not burning nearly as many calories as I would during blasting.

Perhaps your just draggin ass right now because you need to a good full recover, maybe your CNS is shot?

My last few cruises, I only hit the gym like 2 times that week. My next one is this week and it'll be to rest up and think of new things to do. I usually do a natural body cleansing thing with raw foods and herbs to get ready for the next assault. That along with getting chiropractic adjustments and deep tissue massages during the cruise week(s) Dropping a meal sucks, but I don't feel anything negative. I find myself using weights that are the same as when I started this training. They feel so light now. Amazing how 50-60lbs increases in exercises in 4 months tends to make previoius starting weights pale in comparison.(just me)

I think I jumped the gun a little with this thread. Now that I'm almost a week into the cruise, I don't feel near as tired. I don't think the first couple days of tiredness was about dropping a meal as much as it was about it really being time to cruise. You know, one of those...you don't know how hard you were going at it until you lighten up a bit and catch your breath. It was definitely time.

It's really a individual thing when it comes to the amount of time that you cruise for. I did an extended cruise just to ease up on a slight injury in my elbow that I got from not warming up properly and not wearing protection on that particular warmup. If you feel raring to go after two weeks then have at it!
ain't it the shit? Just wait til you guys/gals see some of the strength jumps lol..and the size you put on!

Agreed...Me too.By the end of my blasts I'm looking forward to my cruise time and scaling back some with the training.I really just go in there during those 2-3 weeks and have some fun trying out a few things that I havent done in a while....Nothing too intense but still a workout....I'll go in and do an all-dumbbell Chest/Delt/Tri day for high reps.....But by weeks 2 Im already seriously planning my next assault on the weights.

i didnt lose much strength or any weight at all, although, when i brought back that meal i seamed to get a bit pudgy for a few weeks, now i am fuller and a bit tighter feeling --i have added 10 lbs since i started blasting in the end of Sept.
im not hardcore, im not cool, pretending any different would be acting the fool--- ill leave that to those who are good at it

i'm doing my first cruise now... been blasting for almost 14 weeks, which i think went well overall. i'm so glad to take a needed recovery period from training.. my stomach actually feels nice rather than pregnant.. looking forward to my first cruise workout on wednesday where i can have fun with it rather than having my entire focus on beating the last weights/reps.
