Just a quick question, I don't think I've seen it directly addressed, although I have a lot more reading to do, but so we slow negative and rp sldl's? I was doing them today, and thought it would be similar to regular deadlifts and bent rows. It's very hard to go slow, so I tried to keep the movement controlled and rest paused them 10, 6, 4 (underestimated the weight, I'll bump it up next time). Am I corrrect in doing this?
Funny story too, we have one of those leg press sleds (the kind you lay down on and press) so I was going to do that for quads. So I did a light warmup set, then threw the pin at 210. I figured I was doing 5x5's with 275, so 210 should be ok. I couldn't budge the damned thing, so I dropped it to 190 and did a hard set of 4, then had to drop it to 90 for my set of 20. I felt like such a pussy using 90lbs, but I then realized that I'm pushing my bodyweight too since I'm laying down on the sled.
