    Have you ever blacked out during a set?

    Today I was leg pressin an had a couple reps to go an i swear i was almost gone, when i pushed up on that rep the tension that was in my head kinda jus faded for a split sec and i felt as if i was jus gonna black out and drop the weight on myself.

    Have to say it was the most intense set ive done yet. I keep surprising myself as to where my mind can take me.

    I mean you see the people who say they are lifting at 100% but really arent. Ive always known i can push harder, an today i guess i took one step in the right direction. When i finished the set i was breathing harder than i ever have, my heart was pounding in my chest.

    So have u ever blacked out?

    I pooped my pants once...Never blacked out though....Well, a few times when I was young and used to drink a lot but never working out

      A lot of times I see spots. I am pretty sure it is from not breathing properly.
      Now pooping my pants I never did, I have let a lot of gas out which people thought I did.
      So I would say concentrait on your breathing.

        I've only almost blacked out once, but sometimes felt as though I was going to have an anyeurism quite a few times. This was only on squats, no other exercise.

              I black out often, After severals hours I usuall regain consciousness only to find that Ive raped, killed and eaten the flesh of 2 or 3 13 year old Viet Namese girls... I have issues.

              Im not a bad person. Honest

                I really tend to grit my teeth through the second half of the set, the breathing goes to hell, my head starts to pulsate from the pain. Feels as if its gonna explode.

                  Things have gotten pretty gray and tunnel-visioned a couple times on 20 rep smith machine squats.

                    I passed out once at the gym. The next day I found out I was pregnant. Somehow, I don't think that's your problem though.

                      i passed out when i hit my 695 on the bench
                      i always get the stars n tunnel vision
                      when doin a max workload, breathing should be minimal

                          Damn that's a scary thought of blacking out while benching. But on a less serious note, I'd faint at the thought of trying that weight.
