Hey bros whats up. I was just wondering if there was an alternate tricep stretch, because I can never really feel the one outlined so well. Thanks alot
Do you have it resting on your traps at all? Once you get up in weight with the triceps stretch it becomes pretty damn difficult to just hold it behind your head without letting it rest on your traps. I do the smith stretch now, it's hard to explain so hopefully someoen else can do the honors...LOL
if u have a training partner do the following
ly on a flat bench, take ure right arm and make like ure doin a overhead DB ext. have ure partnerwith his left hand grab ure wrist, and right hand on ure elbow, and pull ure wrist to the shoulder and push the elbow back
it stretches the shhiiiit outta ure triceps, and u can mediate the pressure too

FRK that's similar to the smith stretch, the smith is when you don't have a partner and basically use the bar for support while you try to go as deep as possible.
I do the stretch like DC says even though I dont think I'm doing it right. after that I get on the dip bars and just hold the bottom position for about 30 secs.

yes, in the right position you can stretch the triceps hanging on the dip bar.

That's an interesting concept. I have thought about just taking a relatively light EZ bar and just going into a deep EZ bar extension, but I don't think my elbow problems will allow that anymore
i just carry a slightly heavy db behind my head like an 2 arm extension, because with single-arm extensions i dont feel anything. the 2-arm is a much better stretch IMO
Personally I place my arm over my head and up against the upright of my power rack and push as hard and as far back as possible. This does wonders for my stretching my triceps.

I do that and use both arms, that works best for me.

I always do this and when done right,it's really brutal.I always ask my partner to 'push harder' and 'go deeper' and it always kills me.
