    Compared to the wealth of knowledge held by the senior trainers of this board (the much appreciated massive g, frigginhuge, inhuman, DC, big3, sammy) I have very little to add in the way of useful knowledge, but I thought I'd give it a try. Also I have a suggestion/question if an idea I have is a good one. Ok so what I've been doing recently is upon rising I have been consuming 2 teaspoons of lemon juice in 25oz. of water. I have found it to really kick start my metabolism for the day before hopping into my first meal. So you could give that a try if you like. My other suggestion/question is that with food consumption in mind and the difficulty (sickness) I feel trying to do any ab work later in the day, when I wake up before any food I have been doing my abs. An ab exercise rest paused for 15-30reps, 2-3 times a week. Can anyone see a problem with this? If so disregard my suggestions, otherwise I hope this as been a useful contribution.

    I don't think abs are rest paused man.What they do is just do a very slow negative for 12-20 reps i think.

    What's the point of the lemon juice?

      I've done abs rest paused before , it was when I first started training this way. I thought everything else is rest-paused so why not abs. I liked it, but I went back to straight sets for some reason

        well, we usually aim for 15 reps straight setted with abs. and apocz.. i just woke up, so i'm going to have 2 tsp of lemon juice in 25 oz of water - if i have lemon juice anyway.

          i dont like any weighted ab resistance, i think it makes your stomach protrude

              I disagree w/ the ab comment Chris. By using weights you are working them more thoroughly and etch deeper into them. By no means will it make them blocky.
