  • economical protein blend for nighttime

Guys,I need a formula for pre-bed nighttime protein shake. My current formula is 40% Milk Protein Isolate,20% Egg White Protein,15% Whey Ion X and 15% Whey Ion Cold Filt. This formula is getting a bit too expensive since i'm still a student and wondering if you guys had any idea what kind of formula would be the most economical for a pre bed time shake?

all great ideas, though milk in the long run gets pretty expensive. b-chest's idea is probably the cheapest/economical mix you can do, and i know many that use it with great results.

Why not just straight mlik protein isolate, it will lower your price if you cut out the egg and whey's.

You're complaining about milk being $3.19 a gallon? It's been like $4.00 a gallon here for years.

Yeah, something like 50/50 wpc/calcium caseinate is very good bang for the buck.

Not sure I'd do that...definitely not the best tasting protein out there. I've had 100% unflavored calcium caseinate before and would much rather put this in my mouth than a 100% MPI shake. Maybe TPC has some input on this as well...

                              To quote Dante...

"Im hardcore as all hell and I couldn't down a 100% calcium caseinate shake" Paraphrased not including the unnecessary capital letters and '----' instead of periods.
