  • isolating the peak fibers of the bicep

Can someone recommend a good exercise to work only the fibers of my bicep located in Quadrant B 1. I figured only working these fibers and leaving the other ones alone will make my peaks better too

also a good exercise for quadrant D 6 for quads

    thanks guys

I find that in order to isolate B 1 I have to spin around 3 times clockwise, then grab a dumbell, supinate 31.5 degrees, then perform a curl only in the bottom 14% of the motion.

For D6 on the quads - the best one I can find is standing on one leg with your foot on an angled wedge that is taller to the outside of your foot, while keeping the knee bent at 26.3 degrees - you juggle 3 45lb plates. That will hit it perfectly.

      Man, I tried that, and i couldn't hit the d6. I blasted the D5, but not D6. I have to juggle 4 45's at a 24.65 angle to hit the D6. :o

It is possible that the angle of the wedge you are standing on plays a role... the one I used was a 13.487 degree angle. I'll give it a try at 24.65 degrees today and see how that works for me :albert:

See, this is why IM is tops, guys. Our training advice is like NO other.

I mean, most would keep these "secret" principles to themselves (like the wedge) but not at IM. Good work, guys.

I'm very disapointed in these comments.

Everyone is contradicting each other. I don't understand how juggling plates would help at all. i mean that has nothing to do with your legs. I would not be able to do a leg exercise while i was juggling.

I do like that hexagon shape plates idea though. and it seems using the wedge is the key...24 degrees roughly

                              i'll give this a try.
