Im going to be scaling back my training of people dramatically October 1st. Ive been getting really burnt out and I no longer want to answer 80 emails a day every single day.....Ive been getting to the point that Im starting to really dislike thinking/talking about bodybuilding and I never thought I could get to that point. I refused 4 guys today training wise and Im going to be very very strict in who I train and who I dont from now on.
I will not in any way train someone who is overanalyzing. No freaking way in hell and I can tell right from their writeups who is and who isnt. Experience has taught me those guys are such pains in the asses its not even worth it. They worry about everything, decipher everything you make them do, lose total sight on the big tasks at hand and I spend half my time trying to debrainwash them and it does nothing but frustrate me terribly. When you spend 500 hours worrying about how to contract your medial deltoid at the top of a Arnold Dumbell press and 1 hour is spent on thinking how to do everything in your power to actually beat the logbook TRUST ME TRUST ME--your going nowhere fast in this sport buddy......my patience has worn clean thru with overanalytical and "set in their ways" bodybuilders. Simply put "if your way works so good then why the hell are you contacting me-LOL?" How many posts do you need to read and how many pictures do you need to see to convince you that what Im telling you to do will work incredibly well?
Im not going to train anyone who I feel is not driven to succeed in this sport. I had someone contact me today saying he eats horribly with alot of junk food, has never trained legs before and lifts in a apt complex gym. Nope, seeya, thats not going to cut it in the least. Im sorry but I show you a way to become something pretty special physiquewise fast but I sure as hell cant show you how to light a fire under your ass, be disciplined, be determined or how important this truly is to you---thats your job.
If youve been training for many years and have gotten absolutely nowhere, Im most likely going to pass on you.....I just feel that there comes a time when you really have to batten down the hatches and get down to the grunt work on this stuff....and even if its done wrong, hard effort and trying seriously hard in this sport will result in some gains. I quickly lose confidence in someone who has been lifting for 10 years and doesnt have any kind of gains to show for it. Thats not bad genetics, thats failing to go the extra mile to determine what needs to be done to improve yourslelf. Would you go to a job making 8 bucks an hour and be satisfied 10 years down the road when your still making 8 bucks an hour and still in the same position? CASE CLOSED
When I train someone who is a little bit of a bodybuilder already all the way up to an elite athlete, my god my job is so much easier. They already know that big weights equals the big man on the block so I tell them exactly what to do and they do it....I dont have to explain myself to death or debrainwash them from Weider peak contraction principle #137.....I show them a plan on how to create huge muscular size incredibly fast and they do it no questions asked and it works OH so well. Most of my elite guys I train came to me because they were stuck, they werent gaining anymore. It simply amazes me that I always get some 175lb guy overanalyzing this shit to death and arguing with me that I train and the 240lb bodybuilder listens and does everything I say and I get him up to 280lbs in a blink of an eye. I mean that scenario has happened so many times Ive lost count now.
If I have refused you as a trainee and you read this board and your determined to learn how this is all done with all the fine details you never see on boards, I can refer you to a core of about 5 guys that I totally trust can take you thru this stuff and get you gaining fast....their pateince will be much greater than mine. The price will be the exact same as mine though so your not going to be saving money. So your 2 options are never learn the finer details of all this or put on 25lbs plus of muscle mass in a very short time by having one of my trainees take you thru all this. I ask that my trainees who do this keep me in the loop anytime they have a question/problem so I can comment so you are getting my thoughts second hand anyway. Most of you guys Im mentioning know who you are but if there are other former longtime trainees of mine who feel they are up to speed on most things and want to take on some of the people I turn away please email me about it. This isnt going to be potpourri though...Im talking guys that have really picked my head in emails and that Ive trained for a pretty long time. Beyond everyone else FH has really thrown some bigtime intricate and "covering all ends of the spectrum" questions at me, and Gollum is up there too. Everyone knows Inhuman and Raul are in that group also. BigP I only leave out for the reason of he is probably wealthier than anyone on the damn board and is the last guy who would probably be interested in any side work. So anyone else who feels they are worthy and wants at it let me know by my email address that I trained you at that only you would know (that just cut out 98% of the people that were going to respond--LOL)
