    How can I put this without it sounding bad?....
    I'm not a huge fan of how the guys were doing their rack deadlifts on the video....looked like the bar placement was very high

      I kinda have to agree here. I noticed that, as well. Bar placement looked to be quite a bit above knee level.

          clips were alright, but i wish they were a bit longer.. oh well, i just ordered made in germany so i can finally see what everyone was talking about..lol

            Agreed, but I wouldn't want guys looking at that as an example of how to do rack deadlifts because unless you're David Henry with David Henry's genetics i don't think that form is gonna cut it

              FH, it's funny you brought that up about the form. OK I am NOT trying to critique a pro's form, it obviously works for him, but did you see his 130lb triceps extensions? He used a very partial ROM. His explanation was that lowering the DB any further than that causes tons of shearing on your tendons and it is not very good for your joints at all. What are some of you guys' thoughts? I've used a more partial range of motion with extensions before and I agree that they seem to work very well and I did not get any pain in my elbows or wrists. Granted, I no longer do extensions due to my elbow problems...

                          Say what you need. There ain't really a use in arguing the form issue, it's ben beaten to death and it's goin anywhere. I suppose every single Pro uses strict form and has no critics.
                          Having stated that, I used to train with not so shiny form. But as seen, it's changed and full ROM is what we use. Okay not on partials, but everything else. As also as seen, I'm growing along with the other 2 I train with. So see it as you will. I still do single Db extentions to my ears with 100's so it aint the form now is it?

                            Glad you were intellegent enough to see our posts as an opportunity to debate form,range of motion etc.... and not just get defensive and go off on some ignorant 'I'm a pro so there...' type of rant.

                              Out of all the Muscle vidoes I've seen, hardly any of them up perfect form. Hey, I though you would want to do what makes you grow not what Men's Health recommends for lifting forms.

                              Wouldn't you all agree there are many ways to perform lifts safely that may not be "perfect" form
