  • A little help here guys please

OK, as most of you know who read my first post, I allowed myself to go to hell shapewise. Now I am on the road back, however this is a newish experience for me.

In the past when I would "cut" I would just jack enough prop/tren and winny to kill a small village, and live on protein shakes until I reached my desired level of "cut"

Now, I am doing it natty (since I did not workout for 4+ months before resuming, and not going to risk injury) anyway, to make a long story short, after one month of DCing and diet the results are as follows:

    Weight: Down 8 pounds
    Chest : up 1/2 inch
    Arms : up 1/4 inch
    Waist: down 1 inch

Now to me this seems like one HELL of a slow boat, considering i have probably 7 more inches to burn off my waist before I am back to where I was shapewise. However, is this about what to expect when going the "natty" route?

Basi diet info is as follows:

15x calories, 2x bodyweight in protein carb cutoff at 6:00 PM

1 day per week straight keto diet (I believe in keepin the body off balance dietwise when cutting)

1 day per week (usually sunday, before the weeks workouts begin again) is a non diet day, going to 20-25x calories and up to 500 gram of protein tyying to keep it relativly clean

As far as workout, I have raped the logbook with EVERY workout, so strength keeps climbing.

\My question is, when dieting natty, is this the track I should be on? Or should I be cutting down calories more, to perhaps 12X? Increase cardio? (currently 3x per week, 45 minute walk/light jog)

Finally, when the HELL will this gut start going down quicker? This sucks..everything is "firming up" which is just making that gut..look even fucking worse...lol.

If you could, just let me know your feelings

Wardog, why the rush? Or maybe I should ask how fast it has come off before?

No contests in the near future, right?

        :iagree:

I'm with jimpaul on this one. 8 lb (assuming it's all or mostly fat/water) loss in 1 month is about 2 lbs per week. Dude, that ain't to flabby...I mean shabby...LOL.
As long as it keeps coming off and you are still progressing in your workouts, I wouldn't change anything. Not until you hit a stall. Then start figuring out what to tweak.

I'm a little fried today but here goes:

This may be one of those things that may take a little adjustment. Maybe taking the cutoff time an hour sooner. To test it out in say, a couple of weeks. I mean, as long as your not losing strength.

JimPaul, as I said, I cannot compare previous chemically enhanced trim downs. I would run a heavy juice cycle, do 10X calories and basically live on protein shakes, but would drop weight at the rate of 5-7 pounds a week.

I guess what is troubling me is the lack of much of a loss in the waist. The gains are very nice to get, especially on limited calories. It just seems like this waistline is just not fading very fast at all. In shape I have a 32" waist (genetic gift for me, considering I am 6'5") and right now it has gone from 41.5" to 40.5 inches. Just seems like extremelt slow loss in that area.

If your worried about time, then i would add a cardio session and/or as jimpaul said make the carb cut-off one hour sooner. But if i was in your case, i wouldn't worry a bit and keep things as they are until i hit a plateau.

              Good luck

2lbs a week natty is a good rate to lose at. That means you are roughly 1000 cals in the hole ED.
I have lose 55lbs in 4.5 months before and it was tough as hell to do natty.
I lost muscle at this rate and now, after gaining back 40lbs, I am the same BF%.

Keep at it, keep the protein up, drink a shitload of water.
I would run 3 weeks low cals and then take a week and load back up to get the metabolism running again.
If you run too low too long, it is tough to keep the fire burning at a good rate.
