Like loftgroover said.. read and use the search button. I could be mean and just direct you to the cfp.. not knowing on which damn page the answer on or if it is even there..

Anyway, the controlled descend aren't a NECESSITY during warmups. If you'd like to, no one's stopping you. I personally do bout 3-4 warmup sets with only the final 1 or 2 being those with controlled negatives. Sometimes i just skip em and only control the descend real hard on the rp set.

Next, what do you mean normal workout fashion? If 100lbs can be done for say 15 reps, then hey, use that or even go heavier by10% maybe when rp'ing. If 100lbs is done jerking and swinging and only 5-6 reps can be shelled out, then you've gotta go lower for the rp.. catch my drift?

Any other tips you can get from reading the recent week or 2 threads.. lotsa newbie posts and questions that have been popping up these few days.
      Consistency is the key
