  • Progress Report from working with DC

Hey fellas I'm on top of the world for personal gains and wanted to share my experience with working with DC. I started in April with Dante and in the past six months I have gained 26lbs, added 1" to my arms and calves, 1 3/4" to my thighs. I'm by far the strongest I have ever been in my life and things aren't slowing down.

    Thanks Dante

PS. James, I'm another example of DC training working if done correctly

Agreed RJ...keep the food coming. I'm not going to lie, sometimes it feels more like work to eat then doing my real job, but no complaints, it's the best program for gaining size

Rowtogrow and I started off slow (real slow) and we werent quite on the same page after the first month, and then something went off in his head---I have no idea what that was....a post on here from someone? an email getting on him from me? sitting down and thinking this all out? I dont know what it was but its like a power switch went on and he turned the corner--his email workouts to me started looking alot different and he started taking chances with poundages....and then the guy just turned into a robot, crushing his logbook religiously. Job well done.

I would like to answer Row's question that he left on Mayhem here about his rapid muscular weight gain. Whenever you gain muscular (or fat) weight fast there is a transition period where your body must adjust to it, and this usually takes 3-4 months to do that. Put a 26lb backpack on your back every morning and watch how your huffing and puffing and ungodly tired for days on end. The down side to this transition period is your continually getting bigger while your trying to catch up, so this is an ongoing process. Until your body catches up here your going to find yourself breathing heavier and fatigued more often, this is definitely a downside to bodybuilding but a fact of the sport. Your not going to be running a mile down the street to the convenience store at 280lbs like you did at 180lbs. Give it a little time and everything will adjust Rowtogrow but remember this--as your body adjusts to the 26lbs finally over time, the new muscle mass you put on during this adjustement period also adds to the equation (its just an ongoing process) .....going from 137 to 300lbs myself trust me Ive been thru this alot.

            thanks dante...that makes sense.

To be honest, what changed was, I was easing into it trying to always hit my reps trying not to fail with all my exercises, but things were going too slow. I took a chance one day and did well and I got an email from Dante that got me fired up and now I understand balls to the wall training and the rest is history. I will keep you posted with my gains every so often.

On a side note it seems that my computer is going to be fine now after $100's of shipping fees.
I was still lerking whenever I had a chance from a computer at the gym.

I like that. Most bodybuilders think they know it all cause they took biology in college and they never graduated. Its complete b/s. They think they have the answers to it all cause they result to taking roids and thats where the key to their growth comes from. Not their training. Anyone who takes steroids will get bigger automatically first cause of water retention, and automatic hormones in their blood system equals automatic growth. :sex: :Punch: :2guns:

if you think that is true.... when your old enough... do a cycle and don't up your protein iuntake and don't train.... see where it gets you..... they deffinatly help but they are not magic... if you don't train your ass off and push yourself hard in the gym as well as eat huge amounts of food they aren't going to do all that much for you......

This post makes me feel a lot better. Ive gained almost 25lbs relatively quickly from following all the info on this board and i am still only in the low 170s but i noticed i was having a much harder time breathing and was sweating like a pig all the time. I thought something was wrong with me since i am still skinny.
