  • A few quick queries, I was wondering....

    if your not sure how much to progress up in weight each time, is it best to be safe and use the smallest incriment

    Stength is rocketting at the moment, and its weight and reps going up each session, gr8 :showoff: but should I?
    • Use the smallest incriment and get so many reps I could have used more weight
    • Use too much weight and dont hit target number (of rest pauses)
    • Just stop overanalysing again?? :albert:



    I HAD another question but I seem to have forgotten it

    er...green tea...do u boil up a whole batch and chill it ready for drinking?

    just stop overanalyzing. ok rackitup, you know the answer to this one i know it. somewhere deep inside you is saying: use some common sense and make larger jumps when possible if at the high end of the rep range, and smaller jumps (aka playing it 'safe') if at the low end of the rep range and to just go by how you feel and see if you pick up on any patterns on certain types of exercises over several workouts to see what is a 'safe' amount to increase with for you.

        stop overanalyzing,,,, lol,,, just lift my friend,,, if you feel strong go for it and never set limits on your weights,,, it always seems like my gains come in spurts so take them when you can

          I agree. Some days you get in the gym and feel like an animal. Take use of that and go ahead and add more than 5 or 10lbs. Go for the 25lb increase and give it hell. If you don't get or get close, no worries, back off slightly and you'll crush that weight in a week or two.
