  • muscle aches

Being in my early 30's, i have realized i am not a spring chick anymore and i have noticed that despite good stretching and proper warm up, i finding little injures that used to be no problems in the past, tend to last much longer requiring me to ease up on certain exercises to prevent it from becoming a major problem. I was wondering if anyone has found any solutions to this. Do people find regular massages worth the cost? Hot tub use? Others?

    Thanks guys

Any chance I have I take advantage of a hot tub. It really does the trick for muscle soreness.

Good sleep also helps. I take melatonin every night before bed. It is probably the most important supp I take. I've always had trouble sleeping and it works wonders for me.

        foam roller
then rumble roller + lacrosse ball
        bath salts
        better form
        vibram 5 fingers
        morning stretches

all the above help me a lot and are very cheap.

I am a big fan of the the ART but only use that when i have an injury. I suppose it can be used as a preventative thing as well?? How often do you do have ART or massages done?

Thanks for the all the suggests guys!

Both ART and deep tissue massage every 3-4 weeks. I use them both as pre/re-hab as needed.
