I do a 4-8 set then a widow maker. My question was on my low rep set if I reach only 4 reps do I move up in weight? Or should I try for more reps next time.
I know everything is about progression so I figured I would just add weight. Any thoughts

If you feel like you are the chance kinda guy add weight, if I hit the magic number at the low end of the set number, I add weight...

I like using a weight I can get 4 reps for. The following squat session I make sure I get 6 reps at least. Once I manage 8, I add 10lbs per side.
