  • Quad stretch....

    Ok I think I got all the rest of the stretches down.... the only one I have trouble visualising is the quad stretch...... can anyone here give a better description on how to do it.... orshow me a picture of it being done.... thanks in advance for any help with this..... here is the description I have...

    QUADS: Facing a barbell in a power rack about hip high --grip it and simultaneously sink down and throw your knees under the barbell and do a sissy squat underneath it while going up on your toes. then straighten your arms and lean as far back as you can---60 seconds and if this one doesn't make you hate my guts and bring tears to your eyes nothing will---do this one faithfully and tell me in 4 weeks if your quads don’t look a lot different than they used to.

    Have you ever done a Sissy Squat?, well its just like that except you are holding onto the uprights of the cage or the bar of a Smythe machine, stay on your toes when you are at the bottom, lift your pelvic up in the air a bit and move back or forth while on your toes to feel the pain even more in your Quads.

    My toes are maybe 1' in front on the bar when I use the Smythe machine...

      I never did sissy squats before.... I thought that sissy squats were when you only went down a few inches with the weight... "partial squats" lol...... I just looked up what they were.. now I understand....

          I am going to have mikey demonstrate all of the stretches and take pics of the... I will post them on the board so everyone can see how to do them.. He is a sexy model by the way... lol

            Looking forward to it! Did my quads today, my first attempt at 50 reps.. made it to 35, then my psyche broke down. I loved it!! Going for 50 next time..gotta get into that meditative state more...ignore the pain.
            The only thing that was lacking to make the workout complete was the stretch..didn't really get the hang of it..so pictures would really be appreciated!

                Shure every now and then you need a little shocker, I pick a weight I can do 12-15 reps on the Leg Press and I go for 50 reps, oh yea they are really fun...

                  I hope this helps,

                  I used to do sissy squats before usually at the end of a leg workout or just before doing leg extensions, I loved doing them, well sort of, they are pretty painful to do as an extreme stretch.

                    Thanks for the picture Creator_11. I'll try it on Monday.
                    Btw.. those 35 reps on the leg press really made my legs grow back nicely..(I have a little less than an inch left until I'm back at my previous measurements now) and made them sore offcourse.
