Green tea is green tea in my books. I've read some ppl buy Lipton cause it tastes better but my taste buds have very low expectations. I hit up my local china town and buy 100 tea bags for $5.
i use 'sushi chef' japanese green tea usually. because i like sushi, i've thought about becoming a chef, japenese stuff is usually cool, and it tastes good.
I ended up going to Walmart and they had Lipton boxes of 20 bags for $2
The ringer said, "oh, you must drink tea like my boyfriend, he has 1-2 cups every morning" I'm thinking, "More like 8-10"
(I'm just starting the green tea.)
LOL, yea I've had green tea come up in conversations before and they were like 'Man I drink alot, like 3-4 cups a day!' Oh really? I drink like a gallon a day...LOL
i use 4-5 packets per 1/2 gallon, but it brews overnight... actually i dont even take out the bags until i replace them with fresh ones for a new batch.
i use about 3 bags per quarter gallon.. so i use about 12 bags/day. and i NEVER drink any past 7pm, gotta sleep sometime lol.. if i start my day off with it, i seem to have a much more productive day, i am more focused and energized
speaking of green tea.. has anyone found the bigger tea bags? It would be soooo much more efficient if I could brew it using 1 or 2 bags instead of 6 at a time.
Greek women, we may be lambs in the kitchen, but we are tigers in the bedroom.

You can get the leaves, or whatever they make the tea out of, online. I saw it today, then you can put that in your own bag. I remember we used to have a metal ball with holes in it, with a little metal chain. It was a reusable, washable "tea bag" of sorts. That's what it was made for too.
You might want to look into that.
