Which exercise is best for the hamstrings?

My quads are growing way faster then my hamstrings, it doesn't look good at all.

I have seen you guys talk about sumo legpress, but I'm not sure have to perform that exercise...

You would be surprised that 80% of lifters have Quads over powering thier Hams, they just seem to get over looked.

I enjoy Seated, Standing, Lying Leg Curls, SLDL, DB Leg Curls, Lunges and Sumo Presses...

This is a good explaination for our man the shiv:

Keep your stance wide, with your toes about 3 inches off of the platform. you want to push with your heels, and it helps to mentally think of your toes pointing towards your shins. keep your ass on the pad though, don't curve your back, stay straight. keep your hands on those side holds though, for support to keep your back straight.

I will add your feet are place at the upper most outer part of the platform...

You lie face down on a Flat Bench, with your knees bent you place a DB between your feet, of course the plates of one end of the DB will be lying on the bottoms of your feet since your feet are it the air, then keeping that DB tight in between your feet you will extend your legs down til they are even with the bench then back up again while keeping that DB from falling out, and the hardest part is that when you bring the DB closer to the bench you must still keep your feet flat to keep the DB from falling away, these are very tough and difficult to perform right off the bat, but man they are killers...

in-human: lunges are a hamstring exercise? I was thinking of adding them, but I was going to use as guad exercise. figured there were better ones for quads. As long as it is a ham exercise I'll use it.

Bumping this up, how about Good Mornings for hamstrings? I was doing stiff legged deadlifst but I'm feeling it more in the lower back than in the hamstrings and glutes. One of the trainers in the gym suggested good mornings.

GMs will work your Hams the straighter you keep your legs, but my lower back gets fried from them.

When doing SLDL just bend your knees a tiny bit so your Hams take all the abuse...

Yes if you do them walking with some weight on your shoulders, get out in the gym parking lot, they work your whole damn upper thigh big time...
