Have anyone tried Brunos Hip Belt Squat variation with DC training.
In the past I have experimented with different types of Hip Belt Squats without ever finding a version that felt comfortable.
The original version described by John McCallum in his "Keys to progress series"
felt like a real quad blaster, but made my knees hurt since you need a 2x4 under the heels for balance. I also tried using a loading pin, and although the load got spread out more to the glutes and hams it still felt pretty good. But the big problem with this was setting the whole thing up, and I eventually dropped them for exercises without the hassle. A Belt squat machine would be the best solution, but they are very rare. In fact I dont think there exsist a gym in my country that owns one.
Brunos version seems like a good alternative and I would love to hear from anyone with any experience using them together with DC. Would be really cool if Bruno chimed in, but I am not sure if he is still active on this forum.
