  • strength gained somewhat but no mass!?

    hi there,
this is my first thread, and i really love dc training.
im having issues, lol, basically im not going to lie, i have definitly neglected cardio and carb cut offs, however not doing those would not effect my muscle gains (apart from the notion of cardio would increase apetite, however i eat a lot).
my workouts are intense, however admittedly i havent done widowmakers.
since 2 weeks ago i have started being extremely strict with carb cut offs, and morning cardio. i am not happy with my fat situation however that is my own fault and i am MUCH more concerned about lack of mass gains.
im deadlifting 400 pounds for 6
benching 242 pounds for 13 (RP)
    squating 352 pounds for 8

i did drop down from 6 reps of 400 pounds deads to only managing 1 but i put that to going to long with my blast and not hitting a cruise sooner.

my diet is decent i consume all good foods and good amounts.
    my typical meals are..
meal 1 whey 3 whole eggs, 2 egg whites, and 125 grams(dry weight) rice
meal 2 tin of tuna and 150 grams (dry weight) rice with 100grams cottage cheese
meal 3 whey shake and 125 (dry weight) rice and 100 grams cottage cheese
meal 4 150 grams salmon and vegatables
    meal 5 3 whole eggs
and meal 6 6 egg whites

please someone give me some advice and dont flame/troll me.
i will upload pics. i have stopped taking kre alkalyn last week and feel somewhat flatter but i think thats all in my head.

You really should be focusing on getting your body fat down before trying to add more mass. Trying to "bulk" at your current level will almost always have you end up gaining more fat than muscle.

Not necessarily. Really step up your game on the cardio.

You also might want to drop carbs down a bit on off days or even try one of the various keto dieting strategies.

It is possible to drop bodyfat while still building muscle on DC if you work your ass off on the weights, the cardio and the kitchen table.

You'd look pretty jacked if you dropped some fat.

I would do whatever training keeps you interested and therefore, consistent. Plenty of people train DC while dieting..... Tighten up the diet, add in your morning cardio and you're on your way.....

Your training style doesn't play a significant role in you getting lean or fat. If it is working for you as far as getting stronger and growing, you would be crazy to stop.

i was just concerned with doing dc due to the fact that if m calories are reduced or cardio increased recovery would be affected, and it is an intense program. and thought it could lead to overtraining and maybe not the strength increases needed for it to work
