i dont really feel the bicep stretch i was wondering if there was another stretch that i could do. i think my technique was right for the bicep stretch. smith machine bar set about neck high then grasp the bar with an overhand grip couple of inches wider than shoulders facing away from the bar than sink down as much as possible. i just dont feel stretch so are there alternatives. thanks

Yes step out and you'll feel the stretch even before you squat down. When I started I made the mistake of just squatting down and felt it in my delts and pecs a lot but stepping out makes all the difference. You'll find that you won't have to squat down as much either. Don't expect to get the feel for it all at once. This is my second blast and even with Dante's help I still don't have it all down. I'm constantly learning more and more about my body so give it time and things will fall together.

Okay, this is NOT endorsed by DC but I use it because I have shoulder pain when stretching the way he recommends. It isn't the stretch as much as I have had alot of problems over the years with my shoulders.
Sit on a high incline bench with dumbells to your sides.
Rotate the bells so that your palms are facing directly out to your side (left palm to the left and right to the right) and then slowly lift your chest and roll your shoulders back. The bells can't be too heavy, though.
Again, this is not endorsed by DC but it works great for me due to limitations so you might want to give it a try.

I find this to be a nice article about fascia stretching (or extreme stretching if you will).. it was the first encounter of it I had before coming here.
Anyway, it has some nice illustrations of different stretches as well, so check it out:
Another biceps stretch I have tried is to use a preacher curl bench, and maybe a 35 lb dumbbell, get in the stretch position, lean back, and just stay in the stretched out position for the time you wish.

You can use a tall Preacher Bench or just a Smythe at chest high, stand foreward to them, arms straight out, palms down on the pad or bar, arms locked out, legs and upper body 90 degree angle then try to stick your head in between your arms and try to push your head as far down as possible towards the floor...

Here is what mikey my training partner does (don't let this out, this is his topic secret stretch that he devised with DC). Okay here goes guys. First off, he pops his shoulder out of socket and puts his arm behind him in a very unatural position. Once this is accomplished he begins reaching between his asscrack attempting to grab his nuts from the backside. He says the key to this is once you get ahold of your nuts you have bend over in T-Bag position to get the full stretch. If you can touch your nose to the floor great and if not it will come with time. I can't remember if he holds if for 15 or 20 full deep breaths, I think it was 20. Anyway, you may want to start off with just 10 breaths at first and work your way up to the 20.

i used to just hang overhand grip with feet on bench , like the pullups, but reverse the grip and just hang there a whileim not hardcore, im not cool, pretending any different would be acting the fool--- ill leave that to those who are good at it
