  • How should I change PW Meal?

    RIght now immediatly after working out I down a 75 gram shake of WPC and 15% glute peptides. At least I think it is 75 grams I take 3 scoops of my mix. At this time I also eat a small twizzlers package: 54 Grams Carbs 26 grams sugar.

    About 30-45 min later I get very lethargic and a little nauseaus. I don't want to eat anymore. I believe my Blood Sugar is crashing. How should I change to avoid this and what should I eat the rest of the night. I work out till about 6:30 pm and try and be in bed at 10:30.

      Twizzler's PWO...LOL Funny thing is I remember reading the specs on the back of a bag once and thinking to myself...'Gee, high carbs no fat...I could eat these after training...'...LMAO
      PWO carbs are a little more specific than just 'eat sugar after training'
      We use a combo of simple and complex carbs PWO to have more of a carb taper because as you've found out with only simple carbs you crash and burn pretty fast

        You can monitor your bllod sugar very easily with a self test kit at your local pharmacy. Diabetics and hypoglycemic patients use these all the time. I bought onr to occasionally test my blood sugar. It is cheap, easy, and instantaneous.

        The kit will be about 40-50 bucks.....just prick your finger, smaer the blood on a test strip, and insert the strip into the hand held device. You enter a specific code and withing 30 seconds or so your blood sugar level will be displayed. You can use it all throughout the day if you want.

          i also ad a slow burning carb to help the crash----
          im not hardcore, im not cool, pretending any different would be acting the fool--- ill leave that to those who are good at it

              Another thing you could do is have a Protein Shake 75grams or whatever u choose in oatmeal, slow release of nutrients, then 30 minutes to 1 hour later you can use the slow release to push more aminos by eating a potatoe with chicken or steak or whatever protein source you like.
