  • Some guys are just made to be athletes....

    Heres some local TrueNutrition athletes.

    1) You have the Mcreery brothers and their training partner Bradley Castleberry. http://youtu.be/IQI0_CFJ72s

    2) I want to show you the athletic ability of Bradley Castleberry.
This guy is 5'9" and about 245 pounds. He played fullback for a local college for the last 2 years and then jumped back in bodybuilding.

He had just bombed his back and is finishing up...so I tell him "hey lets film three things right in a row"....all this was done in succession within 3-4 minutes.

    a) Deadlifts with 405 pounds http://youtu.be/CAXaIYlOi3U

    b) Dunking a basketball http://youtu.be/luaCopPERkY

    c) frog jumping up on a shelf thats got to be 4 1/2 feet high

Sweet videos. Funny Castleberry works out at your gym. I found him on youtube a few years ago and my jaw dropped. How old is he? What age did hefirst hit 245 at? Does he walk around at 245 year round or does he only hit that at certain times of the year based around his goals? What city / gym do you train them in?

That's what training should be about ! Provide functional benefits to your life...

What good is muscle if you can't do anything with it. Mobility and flexibility should be part of every training IMO...

      Great vids !

I've found Brad's videos on youtube a couple of years ago when I was just starting out. Been an inspiration ever since. Dude's just a couple of years older than me and a few inches high, one of my goals is to beat his numbers in a few more years.

Wish I could train with people like him instead of the Jersey Shore wannabes that hang around in my gym.

he could have a chance at the olympics if he trained for weightlifting... he'd have to keep that power and strength at 15-20 lbs lighter bw probably but there's no doubt he fits the profile for oly lifting...

Brad's one crazy athlete then(: I know a lot of big people who can attest to the fact that once they gained a lot of mass, their athletic ability and quickness dropped considerably. Doesn't look like the case with Bradley.
