  • Flat DB Press 150's x4

Trained DC for a long time and made some very good good progress! Always has been a goal of mine to rep the 150's....they still are a bit heavy for a rest pause set though .

Nice lift man. DC will definitely get ya pushing some weight. I think my last set of flat db press was 130's 8,4,2. Haven't touched the heavier ones yet....one day.

Nice lift man, nice control on the negatives as well. My current gym doesn't even have 150lb DBs...

Nice, you probably had one more in the tank.

Most likely indeed... That first rep, without any momentum, has to have required a lot of strength. If Country Power Power Hooks had been used, maybe that could have been at least a six-rep set.

Thanks guys! Daniel, I have always wanted to try those hooks....might just bite the bullet and buy them! I probably could have eeked another rep out, but I have a slight pec injury (it was from incline BB, warming up of course lol) and when I really grind out a rep is when the pain flairs up again.
