I'm looking for a new ex for back width.
Anyone use/d pullovers?
I used to do machine pullovers & they worked the lats well.
"This sport is about extremes - using weights you havent used previously, taking in amounts of food to build greater muscle mass-in amounts you never have done previously, & doing the cardio to keep you at an acceptable offseason training bodyfat that keeps you happy."Dante

Currently doing the following 4 back width exercises:

supinated pulldowns - failed to beat twice & need to replace
Have also done Rear pull downs to the mid-ear level in previous blasts.

I am not sure how pullovers would or could be incorporated into DC style training but I can tell you that since I have started doing them in the last 2 years and even more focus on them this last year, my back has improved tremendously. If you can work them into your routine, I highly recommend it.

I'd assume that RP would be OK, but you'd obviously need a spotter if using free weights.
Interested to see what Dante has 2 say on incoporating these into the program.

Anyone used the old nautilus pullover machine?
Yates thought it was great - supposedly even bought one extra piece for his house.
Now that is a great piece of equipment. I've used that before with a reverse grip and was really able to feel it in my lats. You can do a controlled negative with that and I could see someone being able to rest pause that also. I need to use that again during my cruise, thanks for the reminder!
Dorian once said many times the exercise most responsible for his back was pullovers.
Machine of course.
I use them for back width and yes rest pause them static hold etc.
Since tback is done with Chest and tris I don't know if they blast the chest or not as it is already sore.
The key for me on these has been finding my groove with seat adjustments.
At my gym we have a Nautilus pullover machine (this one: http://www.nautilus.com/2st/pullover.shtml ). Is it different from the 'old' one referred to above? Thinking of putting it into my routine next time a back width exercise fails. (Or would it be better used as a back thickness exercse?)
