  • Mixing protein with green tea.

At work I'm often so busy I don't even have time to walk down the hallway and fill up my protein shaker with water from the water cooler. This evening I just mixed my banana flavored (pretty lightly flavored which is how I like it) protein from TrueProtein with the cold green tea I had in my 32 oz gatorade jug. I was expecting disgust but I was very surprised that it tasted pretty damn good. But, that's coming from someone who likes green tea. I know some people don't.
Anyway, I just thought I would share. Didn't know if any of you had tried it before.

it does sound nasty but i will try it tomorrow

btw - get yourself some white tea or white/green blend to try. great antioxidents and possibly the smoothest tea i have ever had.

Thanks for the tip. Is white or white/green more expensive? Can you get it at the same places you get green, i.e. most grocery stores?

white tends to be a bit more expensive and harder to find

I'm surprised it took this long for you to come up with this.

I think green tea and lemonade flavor would be great.

                        Brontosaurus butt! Sorry, couldn't resist.

you can find the white/green tea blend at the grocery store.

for just white tea, you need to go to a health food store or natural food store or of course a specialty store for tea.

and yes it is more $ but very smooth.

What's the latest you guys drink your green tea. It has caffeine, so I think it could keep you up at night if you drink some late.

Seriously, have you tried the lemonade flavor? That does sound good now that I'm actually thinkin' about it. Hmmm.
