Speak and type software

Has anyone used one of these peices of software and was it worthy. Im getting frustrated as you can tell....I have seriously about 20 posts/articles i want to write and I just cannot get the time to type them out. I would like to try speaking the article on the way to work driving...by talking it out and then cleaning it up when i get a chance on a post. The other nite i was awake in bed for 2 hours just thinking of things I wanted to write about... I got to find an easy way to empty my brain or Im going to go nuts.

Hey Dante. I used the IBM software, and Its a pretty good software if you can speak clearly and know how to pronounce things properly, it wasn't such a good software for my sister when she was 10.

To set it up, you must first go throught a speaking test with the software, it will begin to learn how you talk and, once you have completed the profile, it is very accurate at typing the stuff out.

If you are interested in the software, let me know by pm and I can give you a private HTTP address where you can download the ISO image and burn it to a CD-R and install it.

I'll add my recomendation for Dragon Naturally Speaking. The pro version is a bit expensive but it will pay for itself in no time.

The business products place that I used to work at sold those things. We had so many returned items it wasn't even funny. I forget what brand it was though, but people would say it would sometimes type nothing close to what they said.

oh yea - voice software - dragon beats them all. i used to have it on a PC a couple years ago for work and it was pretty good. saved me loads of time.
