  • Ode To The Master Dogg

It started many moons ago, watching Mike, Arnold, and Lou...
I began training, inspired by amateurs and pros too...
Sadly, my only guidance was the phony rags and that bastard Weider...
Wasted 10 years, no one told me to lower the volume and become a feeder...
Had no idea the cartilage and tendons were dying...
So exhausted, over trained and frying...
Then a light shone out of the dark...
It was Hardcore Muscle making it's mark...
No more B/S, wounds and guaze... What's this? A new perspective called rest pause...
Good supplements were still the rage...one could just turn to the last page.
    Tibestrone, Testratropinal, and even Endo-Pro...
Some people took 'em and could actually grow...
The razzing was pricless with R.D. and Joe...
It was always in fun, no one was called a Mo-Fo...
And who could forget Peter "Snapper" the incredible freak...
Straight out of Marvel Comics with that cartoon physique....
Then a great shadow fell over the land...
Letters and calls seemed to be banned...
With no response our morale sunk so low...
It seemed to be the end, the final blow...
Years went by with nary a word, so we began to fret...
Little did we know a rebirth would happen with the internet...
The teacher was back, oh happy day!...
He returned and again showed us the way...
A, AE and MM boards were ok...
but IM would rise above the fray...
The humor was back with jabs at In-Human and Doug...
Again, all in fun...giving the old chain a tug...
Though the injuries both congenital and accidental took me off track...
I try to stay in touch and offer a few kind words, a way of giving back...
Now we have word of the knot being tied, or so that's the scoop...
Stay tuned, in time we may hear of a new puppy-poop...
Take heed young trainers continue to learn, the final word is not yet written...
Keep eating and training you will decern, that with your results you will be smitten.

There once was this dude from the great west
who figured it out doing restpause-sets,
he`d tried everything in the book
but no matter he wouldn`t give up,
                and then one sunny day
he woke up and said; hey!
NOW i know what`s the better way!

                Got a little inspired....
