  • Lifting in a Perfect world?

    If you had no other responsibilities and had nothing to do but lift and get huge how would you set it up?

    I would split up a DC style work up into 4 different sets

    Chest Shoulders Tri's
    Back Width and Thickness and maybe Biceps

    Quads
    Hams and Calves

    I would then go am and pm work outs 2 on one off. With a nice nap in the middle.

        When you get to the point you can split at least one workout into two times, say you do T and Th workout as it should be then on Sat you do chest/shoulder/tri then Sun you do back, that you can do especially when you get very heavy and the warm ups take so much time...

          i went with the chest/shoulders/tris, back width/thickness/bis, and legs split on m t th f partly because the chest/shoulders/tris/back width/thickness day was just taking me too damn long. i like my workouts short and intense but i also like to warm up thoroughly and take enough rest between exercises so that i can attack each exercise 100% so for me it made sense to go with the shorter more frequent workouts

            Take a look at your avatar, that should expain it to ya, Ronnie doesn't live in a perfect world, or at least for many years, and he accomplished his goals while being on the force.

              I would live with In-Human and eat the left over carcass scraps which would still get me about 700g of protein a day.

              I would train with DC while wearing a I love TRUEPROTEIN.COM.

              Then when contest time came I would move in with SKIP and get peeeeeeeeled.

              I would have tons of money, a on-sight chiro, and a deep tissue masssage therapist also.

              Oh and my spotter would be a small waisted woman with 38F's that would would be placed on my head as I lifted.

                  I tried that to, but the only problem I ran into was since my recovery was so fast that I was not getting each bodypart 2 times in 8 days...

                    I thought Ronnie hit each body part twice a week correct? With way more volume than in DC style. So in essence he does more damage and the same frequency. That would make for larger growth. Unfortunately I could not recover from that regiman.

                    It seems to me that since Amino Acid uptake is highest after training, that frequent training would be more benificial than fewer training sessions that are longer. Why would this be wrong?
