Its about time too... been "blasting" for 11 weeks... I went a bit longer than planned because I was still gaining nicely on most things... As far as weight gain - I went up for 214-215 in the mornings to 219-220 in the mornings which is not bad... I didn't really start eating like a freak until the last 3-4 weeks though. I have noticed the most changes in my shoulder/trap region - I am 100% sure I was massively overtraining my shoulders in the past, so it is nice to see them coming around.
To be honest I am looking forward to the break - but I am nervous that I will lose my gains!
I just wanna make sure I'm clear... my plan is to do 2 weeks of just straight sets of the same exercises I've been doing with lighter weight, no RP... still going to failure, or stopping just short of failure? My training partner just got back from a few weeks off because of surgery and then a vacation - so he will still be "blasting" while I am off... so I am probably just going to follow along and piss him off by using his weights for my "light" workouts
