Any of you guys ever tried the "kashi GO LEAN" cereal. I don't know if it's just in this neck of the woods or not.... but its really high in fiber, low in sugar, and even has 13 grams of protein(soy im assuming) in each servering. When you have it with milk it's actually quite good. When i've gona a while eating oats every morning it's a nice change of pace.

This has been asked a hundred times but i'm getting my new TP order ready and i'm thinking 60% WPC, 30% calcium casien(sp?), and 10% glut peptides for and all day mix, what you think?

I had some Kashi years ago, before it was a "cold" cereal. I was very hearty stuff and it tasted like it was made from wood pulp. Its full of fiber

They had some of their bars at the IDEA personal trainer conference last year - those were pretty good too - for a quick snack... My mom used to eat that cereal a lot - pretty good for tree bark and leaves!

LOL! Man, when I read the title fo the thread I just thought to myself 'that sweetened cardboard stuff', glad to see I wasn't the only one that thought that. I used to eat a ton of the stuff. It wasn't so bad when put some sweetener in it....lots and lots of sweetener...

Well I just got done having a bowl of it, used a little honey to sweeten it. It was odd because I was halfway through eating and I wasn't paying attention so I picked up the box it comes in and started eating that.... by the time I realized it wasn't cereal I had eaten half a box.

I do like it though.... even not sweetened sometimes. Hell, who eats something because it taste's good anyway? EAT FOR GROWTH hehe

I know it may sound ridiculous and there has been very little scientific proof that this is true but every time I consume soy protein based serials or use soy grits for a while I tend to start carrying pistolas on my sides (developing fat handles...) There are some inidications that soy protein increases test to estrogen conversion or, at least, induces higher than normal estrogen production. This may just be a psychological projection of what I have read. Anybody other notices similar side effects? I do not use any super supplements, btw.
