  • Who takes a peak at the old logbook before setting new baseline?

What I mean is that it's not recommended by DC to do that.
So if you set a new baseline and do a blast for 4 weeks you only have 1 increment in weight for each exercise. If you blast for 6 weeks maybe 2 increments.
What I'm trying to say here is , it's not really difficult NOT to loose an exercise is it? Especially if you don't take a peak at your last weights.
Do I make a thinking mistake somewhere or am I overanalyzing?

So what I'm saying is if you don't do that you probably never loose an exercise?

Wait, I don't understand, why the hell not look at your old log so after the cruise you will know how much weight you did last blast, cut a few lbs and go from there, you will catch up to the last weight you did in the last blast in just a few rotations, I don't get what you mean?...

Maybe I should have called the thread "did you ever loose an exercise?"
I think you never do if you only blast for 4 weeks because you only get 1 rotation.

you would get 2 rotations.. i think you could still top out on an exercise eventually, but why only blast for 4 weeks unless you burn out that quick?

oh my.. you are really confused.. it means that you dont have to try and beat your previous lifts from the last blast... just start at a weight that you can get in the rep range and go from there. if your previous best is too heavy coming out of a cruise, then dont worry about it because you'll catch up and pass it before the blast is done.

A rotation is 12 days, and yes you have a point but noone will lose any exercises that fast in just one blast in the beginning, and remember they are not exactly 4 weeks, hell my first blast was just over 8 weeks, we all will have a different blasting time, and as I progressed in time and the weights got heavier the cruise periods came quicker 4 or 5 weeks.

You must know your body to know when it is time to cruise, that fine line to walk of overtraining and just stopping to short of some serious gains.

Now of course as you go through more blast sure exercises will stagnate and you will top out on some machines also, I have some that I have not stagged or topped out on yet and its been 7 months then I had a few I topped out machines and stagnated on in the first two months of the program.

So we will all vary in this problem...
