5lbs a week during contest prep and 10-15 normally. I like solid food in the offseason, shakes are supplemental and post workout!

I try to eat real food, I save shakes only for pre and post and if I am in a hurry, hell I can make 20 lbs last 1 month, I like food...

I just use it for post workout or when I'm traveling (for convenience). I've found that powder is not really a substitute for eating real food. I actually seem to get fat when I use protein powder as a staple - I believe it's cause your body absorbs it too easily. Your body metabolism seems to increase to digest real food which absorbs at a different rate than protein powder.

Go through about 10-15lbs in a month. Usually works with breakfast, postworkout and night time shake. Eat alot of solid food though. Dont doubt it.
