  • Different Shake Mixes

    Guys/Gals,

    What are some of the different ways you make shakes? I mean what kind of things do you mix your shakes with...coffee, fruit, etc.

    I'm looking for new ideas. Lately I've been dragging ass so I've be mixing my protein with double brewed coffee for a jolt!

    i've been mixing unflavored with 1/2 packet of swiss miss no sugar added hot chocolate mix.

          I started back drinking a little coffee in the morning. What I do is I take my coffee with creamer and sweetener already in it, put it in the blender and add however much daytime mix protein I want. Then I add about an amount of ice that's a little more than the amount of coffee and blend about one minute. Man, what a treat. Just tastes like an iced coffee. I love it.

            My Favorite Post-Workout Shake

            ~50+g True Protein Whey Isolate - the good stuff
            ~50g Dextrose
            10g L-Glutamine
            10g Taurine
            Either 1c blueberries or 1c strawberries

            I drink it right after my workout. Can't wait to finish the workout!

                diet mt. dew... diet coke.....coffee is always good just have to wait for it to cool down i lik eto make the coffe night before and just make it.... tried it a few times with sweet tea not bad. hmm id love to make Pop siscles out of it but i never got any feed back from my old thread wether it would do something to the protein or not. I have this thing you just pour the liquid in and put it in the freezer and makes ice pops. So TPC get back to me if that would work or bad idea.

                  2 scoops protein, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 16 ounces milk, 1/3 cup ground oats. obviously only for bulking. about 1000 cals

                        I know it sounds nasty but I always put metamucil in mine. Ads a nice flav and helps keep the pipes clean,,, lol.
