okay, my gym doesn't have a t-bar machine so i've never had the opportunity to do them. i read a post by In-Human awhile back explaining how to ghetto fab your own t-bar. So here's the deal, i was supposed to do seated rows today but iv'e always hated that exercise, if i go pretty light i can feel the exercise okay, but if i go to the weight i know i should be using, i can't really feel it. Anyways i was sick of the exercise and decided to try out the t-bar. All i can say is daaayuum. I heve never done a more agonizing back exercise in my life. These tore me up, and when combined with rack chins today it made for a seriously brutal workout. I wish i knew about this sooner. It's been like 1 1/2 hours since i finished my workout and i can already tell i'm gonna be hella sore tommorow. I also surprised myself by lifting alot more than i thought i was gonna be able to. I just had to keep stackin on the 25's. Oh yeah, did i mention i love these, bwuaaahaaaaa. i love DC training

yeah. it help also if you put a really heavy dumbell on the bar at the empty end. otherwise you might lift up the whole bar and hit yourself in the nuts. that would make for a really painful exercise, lolMy style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable. I'm unna eat your style, i'm unna eat your style's kids.

funny story. there is not good place to do this exercise any place in my gym accept up against one of the weight trees. usually i have my girl put her foot at the end of the barbell so the bar doesn't snap up and hit me in the nuts as i stack on the weight. a couple of weeks ago, my girl didn't go to the gym with me and i had to ask some random guy if he could put his foot on the end of the bar, i was thinking he new what the hell to do i should have known better. so i am going to do my heavy set and i am not focusing on him, but the 12 reps ahead of me, and as i pulled the weight up, it felt about 200lbs heavier than normal. so i quickly glanced at the guy behind me while i am getting into position and the guy is standing completely half way up the bar, balancing on it. i repped it out about 6 or 7 times (not the usual 12). i just didn't have the heart to tell the guy, "hey idiot, get off the bar and just place your foot on the end".
before you guys write it to tell me to just put a 45lb plate on the end of the barbell, it can't be done on this weight tree.

TPC that was a great story.
I had a simular bad situation. I was using about 200lbs on the end and things were going great. I had the bar pined in the corner of the squat rack and it fits under a little lip. Well I have done these there before many times, but ovbiously this time I did something different. Near the end of the set, I was trying to squeeze out one more rep and the damn thing hit me right between the legs, rode up my ass, and then all the weight fell off. My partner just about died laughing and I felt like an ass.
It's still my favorite exerciseTrueprotein.com
